Brigands' Folie featured our favorite guest whistles and fiddle this weekend, at the Kohkohmah & Foster Living History Encampment. A great time was had by all, we expanded our repertoire to include a number of new dance pieces, and now we impatiently anticipate the onset of our debut album project this Thursday. We even found a delightful way to polish off When Captain's Boat was New with Tracy on a well-known and well-played instrumental.
The cannon roared and the foes fell as the GLRP crew took up mercenary roles in the service of les corps d'artillerie. Manning the line of three-pound guns in defense of the old wooden stockade, we managed to hold off the onslaught of English infantry and grenadiers as well as German mercenaries.
Next weekend, Brigands' Folie can be found at the Zumbro Bend Rendezvous in Mantorville, MN for a relaxing weekend of music, music, and more music.
See you in the past!
